Knowing The History Of New Country Rock

By Claudine Hodges

It is great that so many young people can still relate to the music which was created many years ago by unusual artists. They were the legends of new country rock and their style has helped many singers who around during this particular decade. Some people consider music to be a very relaxing activity that brings enjoyment to everyone.

This is the reason why rap music has really declined over the past ten years. Hard music sounds are difficult to take since there are quite a few Americans with hearing impairments. A great woman named Juice Newton really started this groovy sound back in the 1980's.

She spent most of her life singing great old style western songs which confused so many American people. Her recordings and videos seemed to poke fun at various events which were happening within society during the 80's. Fortunately success was on her side for quite a long time.

It is a good thing that there are so many radio stations that are willing to play a variety of songs from the past and present. Singers like Taylor Swift can now show off their true singing talents whenever a person turns on the radio dial. Girls living within this world know that Taylor is able to speak their language through her mellow and hard hitting tunes.

This is one young woman who can appear to be sweet and innocent one moment and then turn into a real hard rocking singer within a matter of minutes. Carrie Underwood has the same style as Taylor even though she is a little bit older than Ms. Swift. People who watch "American Idol" were impressed by Carrie's singing voice while she was on that show.

Carrie has done many duets with other famous singers and she seems to be getting more and more popular as time goes by. People can identify with Carrie very easily since this is one woman who appears to be down to Earth and she treats everyone with kindness. It was no surprise when she finally took home the winning trophy after finishing her work on "American Idol."

Some years ago western music fans were delighted to listen to a man called Eddie Rabbit. He was a decent person who had faced many tragedies within his lifetime. His young son died at an early age and Mr. Rabbit still had the courage to continue his great singing career. "Step By Step" and "I Love A Rainy Night" can still be heard on the radio to this very day. Unfortunately Eddie Rabbit died before the year 2000.

Many other stars such as Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Faith Hill and Garth Brooks have crossed over to the pop side during their careers. Quite a few individuals are happy when these individuals have the nerve to venture outside of the box and create a variety of tunes. Unfortunately there are still some die hard fans who prefer to hear sounds that are old fashioned.
