By Herzen Cortes

The aim of a photography seminar is to welcome participants to the beaty of nature and wildlife photography. Panama is the perfect venue for photographers both amateurs and professionals to experience wildlife photography. Panama is blessed with massive rain forest. Panama is unique with the biological diversity that lives in it. There are plenty of plants, varied bird species and animals for photographers to capture with. Explore, grab that opportune chance to capture the snap of life that is breathing through Panama. Attendees will have the opportunity to see and photographed the bountiful landscape and seek out interesting tropical plants and wildlife. During the class, the group will spend three days in Central Panama, including two days on the Smithsonians famous field station Barro Colorado Island. They are then left with three days, which they can spend in the cloud forests of Western Panamas Chiriqui province.

Photographic themes will include long lens photography, macro, landscape and animal in context techniques, as well as the use of polarizing filters and fill flash. We also will learn the importance of knowing your subject matter, preparing your shoot, and the art of story telling in images. In this workshop, I will also work with each participant individually to reach specific photographic goals and advance everyone's photographic vision.

Panama is a perfect location for those who are interested in natural history. Participants can acquaint themselves with the beautiful lowland rain forest. The tropical rain forests surrounding (and supporting the water supply of) the Panama Canal is an awesome venue to explore the wonderful tropical diversity in a safe and logistically comfortable setting. With less than an hour drive local flight west, photographers will find themselves emerged in the middle of huge cloud forests with massive tropical trees covered in epiphytes resembling a setting straight out of a fairy tale.

The biological life that exists in Panama creates a perfect appeal to photographers who want to know wildlife photography more. The connecting bridge between the South and North American continents, features a wide variety of animal and plant species. It is a home to almost 1000 species of birds, approximately 250 mammal species, and around 10.000 different plants. Get amazed with the biological life that breathes through Panama.

Panama will not only be a place for workshop but a beautiful expedition to photographers, who intend to upskill their photographic skills.
