The modern way of life has shaped interior design principles in more ways than one. Did you know that, today, it's common to see that the field of photography is directly entwined in the interior design industry. More and more interior designers are using photographs to embellish walls of the modern homes of today.

The use of photography is quite prevalent in Malaysia interior design. As most of Malaysian homes and condos are fairly small and spaces are scarce, photos can actually add that air of design for home and condo interior design. Picture a empty and bare white wall. It is just plain nothingness. Picture if the interior designer would include a huge picture of a white marble hallway? Can you envision the difference? Pictures with contrasting colours can break dull lines. One reason why photos are trending in interior design is that it can be comparatively easy to personalise. Even though some might argue that paintings can be customised too, paintings are way much costly than photos. Furthermore, there are many ways of how photos can actually improve the interiors of residential spaces.

Photography isn't merely utilised as a home ornament in interior design. It is also the main media utilised to advertise the work of interior designers. Without photography, every tiny detail of an interior desinger's work won't be captured and in interior design, almost everything is in the details. It is safe to say that without photography, the accomplishment of interior designers will be hard hunted.
